A standing
legal function.
Legal as
a standing function.
For companies that need legal support continuously rather than transactionally — a named advisor who knows your business, your existing agreements, and your commercial context before every conversation. Not a rotating team. Not a fresh brief on every call.
One person — a qualified practitioner — who is your point of contact, attends your monthly review, and knows your contract estate. The same person from month one to month thirty-six.
A monthly allowance of drafts and reviews at agreed scope. Standard contracts (NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, offer letters, basic ESOPs) within the allowance; large transaction document sets scoped separately.
Unlimited advisory queries during the retainer period — short opinions, clause interpretations, regulatory questions, deal-structuring conversations. Email, call, or in-person.
A comprehensive review of your existing contracts every twelve months — identifying expired instruments, missing protections, inconsistent terms, and remediation actions for the year ahead.
All queries acknowledged within one working day. Substantive response within agreed SLA based on tier. Escalation paths defined upfront.
Three tiers.
Scope to fit the company.
Essential Retainer
For early-stage companies needing standing legal coverage without a full-time in-house hire. The basics, done properly, every month.
- Up to 3 documents / month
- Unlimited advisory queries
- 48-hour substantive response SLA
- Annual contract audit included
- Named advisor (single point of contact)
Growth Retainer
For companies in active commercial scale — more contracts, more counterparties, more advisory traffic, and the need for quarterly legal review at the leadership level.
- Up to 6 documents / month
- Full advisory access
- 24-hour substantive response SLA
- Quarterly legal review with leadership
- Annual contract audit included
- Priority over non-retainer work
Transaction Retainer
For companies in active M&A, fundraise, restructuring, or sustained regulatory engagement. A dedicated resource for the duration of the deal period.
- Unlimited document scope during deal
- Dedicated lead practitioner
- Same-day response on deal items
- Weekly status reviews
- Coordination with diligence, tax, and fundraise teams
- Fee tied to engagement period, not output
Fixed monthly fee per tier, agreed upfront based on company stage, contract estate, and expected query volume. No surprise overages — if document volume consistently exceeds the tier scope, we move you up; if it drops, we move you down. Rolling monthly with cancel-any-time terms; no annual lock-in.
Transaction retainer fees are scoped per engagement based on deal size, document count, and timeline. Quoted before signing.
What's in.
What's not.
Retainers work when the scope is clear. Below is what we always include and what is scoped separately — so there is no surprise at month-end.
Standard contracts (NDA, MSA, vendor, employment, basic ESOP), advisory queries, regulatory interpretation, contract review, settlement support up to scope, annual audit.
Full transaction document sets (SHA, SPA), litigation work, NCLT petitions, trademark prosecution, FEMA structuring projects, due diligence engagements, multi-party negotiations.
Court appearances and formal litigation — handled by empanelled litigation counsel network. Coordinated by your retained advisor; billed separately by counsel.
Criminal defence, family law, immigration, real estate conveyancing — referred to specialist counsel where required.

Onboarding

Run
Monthly cadence with the named advisor. Quarterly reviews on Growth and Transaction tiers. Tier adjusted up or down as the business changes.
